UK Government Offers 75% Discount on Cybersecurity Certification for Small Businesses
Former U.S. President Joe Biden is facing a worsening health situation after his son Hunter Biden said the cancer has spread to his bones and described the disease as "very painful" and "very debilitating."

Under the new initiative, eligible micro, small and medium-sized businesses can receive a 75% discount on the Government-backed Cyber Essentials certification programme.
The discounted certification could cost eligible businesses as little as £80, with a maximum price of £125 plus VAT.
The initiative comes as cybercrime continues to pose significant financial risks to businesses. According to the Government announcement, a significant cyberattack could cost a UK business or organisation an average of £195,000.
Additional Support for Small Businesses
The Government is also working with more than 230 organisations through its Cyber Resilience Pledge. Participating organisations can refer small businesses within their supply chains for free Cyber Essentials certification.
Some businesses may also receive access to cybersecurity advisers who can help them understand online risks and improve their digital security.
Why This Matters for UK Small Businesses
For smaller companies, a cyberattack can result in financial losses, operational disruption, customer data breaches and damage to business reputation.
The discounted certification programme provides an opportunity for smaller organisations to strengthen their cybersecurity without facing the full cost of certification.
Business owners interested in improving their online security can find further information and eligibility details through the official UK Government website.
