From artificial intelligence to digital businesses, innovation is creating opportunities that were difficult to imagine just a decade ago. However, progress should not be measured only by profits, company valuations, or technological breakthroughs.

In my view, the true value of innovation lies in how effectively it improves people's lives. Businesses should consider not only financial growth but also their responsibilities toward employees, customers, and society.

Artificial intelligence, for example, can improve productivity, support research, and simplify everyday tasks. At the same time, its development raises important questions about privacy, employment, misinformation, and accountability. These challenges require thoughtful decisions from businesses, policymakers, and the public.

The United States has an important role in shaping the future of technology through entrepreneurship, research, and investment. Maintaining that leadership will require balancing innovation with transparency, responsible practices, and public trust.

Ultimately, technology should be judged not simply by how advanced it becomes, but by the opportunities it creates and the problems it helps solve. Progress is most meaningful when its benefits reach beyond boardrooms and contribute to a better quality of life.
