Glenn Phillips' Explosive Century Powers New Zealand to 87-Run Victory Over India
Former U.S. President Joe Biden is facing a worsening health situation after his son Hunter Biden said the cancer has spread to his bones and described the disease as "very painful" and "very debilitating."

New Zealand delivered a powerful performance against India in the fourth Twenty20 International, registering an impressive 87-run victory at Eden Park in Auckland. A remarkable century from Glenn Phillips and an aggressive contribution from Michael Bracewell helped the hosts post a formidable total of 259 for seven.
Phillips dominated the Indian bowling attack with an explosive 107 runs from just 49 deliveries, striking 10 sixes and six boundaries. His innings transformed New Zealand's position after the hosts experienced an early setback, losing two wickets during the powerplay.
Michael Bracewell provided equally important support, scoring 65 runs from 25 balls. The pair established a devastating 115-run partnership from just 41 deliveries, accelerating New Zealand beyond the 250-run mark.
India struggled to respond after being set a target of 260. New Zealand fast bowler Jacob Duffy made an immediate impact, dismissing Sanju Samson and Ishan Kishan in the opening over.
Despite contributions from Abhishek Sharma, Naman Dhir and Tilak Varma, the Indian batting line-up failed to establish the partnerships needed to challenge the target. India eventually finished at 172 for nine, falling 87 runs short.
The result marked New Zealand's first victory in the five-match series after India had already secured an unassailable 3–0 lead through their performances in the opening three matches.
Phillips' outstanding performance also helped New Zealand record their first-ever T20 International total above 250 on home soil, underlining the batting depth and attacking potential of the side.
Although the victory will provide New Zealand with considerable confidence, India remain in control of the series. Both teams are scheduled to meet in the fifth and final T20 International in Hamilton before beginning their subsequent five-match One Day International series.
The Bigger Picture
New Zealand's performance demonstrated how aggressive middle-order batting can transform a competitive T20 match. For India, the defeat highlights areas requiring attention, particularly bowling consistency and the importance of building partnerships during high-pressure run chases.
